Part 3 of this series is here.

This posting is the final article in the series, and is somewhat longer than the others.

Before we continue I must once again emphatically state that these series of articles are not condemning Christian preachers/ministers or teachers who lecture the Rapture theory.  I am of the opinion that they themselves have been deceived, and are deceiving others in plain non-deliberate ignorance. If you are thus a member of a Christian congregation which believes in a Rapture doctrine of some sort (there are many versions), and these series of articles have convinced you that it’s all a big lie, I beg you to be not too harsh on the preacher/minister or teacher, but rather equip yourself with this knowledge and show them, gently, the errors of their teachings.

It is truly worrisome that there are esteemed God-fearing Christians out there, who may be spreading satan's lies unawares, but our Creator God has a reason for everything, not only under the sun, but inside and outside this entire universe we live in.  We will never know the finer details and strategies of the spiritual warfare, for  souls, between God and satan, nor the scope and extent of this ferocious battle – only God knows that! Perhaps a person who comes out of the Rapture cult will have far better success helping others to see the light, who knows?

In Part 1 of this series I quoted a piece written by an unknown individual who used the pseudonym “God’s Friend”. This individual used the Strong's Concordance to adequately explain the real meaning of the words “clouds” and “air” as used in the Scriptures in I Thessalonians 4:17, which states:

“Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

This is the foremost verse in the New Testament the rapture-believers rely on. However, they do not take into consideration that Paul, who wrote the letters to the church of the Thessalonians spoke in Colloquial Greek at the time. The word “clouds” means a people (as a congregated unit); spec. a tribe (as those of Israel); fig. a flock;- folk, men, nation, people. (Concordance 5971 as confirmed in the Hebrew and Chaldee dictionary.)

The other word in the scripture that is mistranslated is the word “air”. Which should be airos, which means spirit or vapour - or mist. The scripture should thus read as follows: Then we which are alive shall be caught up together in the (Crowd of people) to meet the Lord in the (Spirit) and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

The unknown individual quoted in Part 1, who, incidentally, also once believed in the Rapture doctrine, went on to provide two ways to substantiate his/her arguments. The individual also mentioned how important it was to also read verses 13, 14, and 15 in I Thessalonians chapter 4 in order to fully comprehend what Paul was talking about.

Verse 13 states: "But I would not have you to be ignorant Brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope."  The people who are asleep is merely a reference to those who have already died at the time when Paul wrote the letter. Those people’s souls are already with God!

Verse 14 reads: “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.” Why? ... because they are already there – with God!

Think rationally for a moment…

How many people (believers in Christ) have died since Christ’s death by crucifixion in the year AD 29? I think it is near impossible to predict a number that will be anywhere near accurate, but let’s just consider the number of deaths during the two last World Wars: In WW I there were about 16 million deaths, and in WW II 60 million people were killed. That gives us a total of 76 million souls. Granted - not all these dead people were Christian, but at least this gives us an idea of how many people have died in a period of only 12 years, bearing in mind that 1,982 years have elapsed since Christ’s crucifixion.

Now imagine what it must look like when 76 million souls return with Christ at His Second Advent?  Would it not perhaps resemble a massive white vapour of cloud? – Just a speculative thought!

Verse 15 in I Thessalonians 4 states:  "for this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that which we are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep."  In this verse 15 the word “prevent” should be transliterated “proceed”, in other words, the dead shall come first with Christ.

We - who are still alive in the end times are not going anywhere - Christ (God) is coming to us!

And when that happens WE (who are still alive on earth) will be changed in an instant - like when an atom bomb hits you, or when extremely intense heat consumes human flesh and bones. In other words, we will ALL (Christians and non-Christians alike) be changed from flesh into our spiritual bodies:
"Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." - (1st Corinthians 15:51-52)

From that point in time there will be no more flesh bodies - onwards out to eternity.

Some rapture-believers will ague that this is the exact same concept as the Rapture, BUT there’s one major misconception that they don’t seem to understand at all, and that is: Jesus Christ is coming AFTER satan is revealed. Paul calls satan “the man of sin” and “the son of perdition” – in other words, the source of death and destruction. And when that ‘being’ comes he will impersonate Jesus Christ Himself, and deceive many!

The last trump is the 7th trump (Christ’s return to earth), the 6th trump is the antichrist  (satan).

“And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.” (Rev 11:15)

The 6th trump (satan) is mentioned in the Book of Revelation in chapter 9 verses 13-14, and also in Rev. 16:12.

That “mystery of iniquity” was already working on earth in Paul’s time, hence the reason why Paul’s message to the Thessalonians was so critical, and why he said: “the day of Christ is at hand…” Paul even gets a little agitated in his 2nd letter when he says: “Do you not remember that when I was still with you (when I visited the congregation personally) I told you these things?”

In the days of the Apostle Paul, the Thessalonians were just as confused as we are today, hence the reason why Paul felt the need to write a second letter to their congregation - II Thessalonians.

Christians who need clarification as to what exactly is going to take place in the end times, will receive much help from studying the words in II Thessalonians, particularly the text in the 2nd chapter:

[1] Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, [2] That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: [3] for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; [4] Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. [5] Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? [6] And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. [7] For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. [8] And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: [9] Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, [10] And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved ….  (emphasis added) -- read the rest of II Thessalonians chapter 2 in you own time.

It is crucial the we understand that those who are working towards promoting and supporting the schemes of the antichrist are already here on earth! They were here even before Christ’s time! The schemers have infiltrated every aspect of our lives, and are bombarding us non-stop with their propaganda – 24 hours per day!

When these people, whom I have often referred to as the International Judaic in previous articles intrudes their false messiah (satan himself) to this world prior to the Second Advent, there will be no change of bodies.  This is the guaranteed way of knowing that this ‘super being’, and bringer of so-called World Peace, is NOT THE REAL CHRIST. This crucial fact is lost to the Rapturist, because the Rapturist has been beguiled with satan's false teaching that the Scripture in 1st Corinthians 15:51-52 is not speaking of the Second Advent, and that it is not a change that ALL people will go through at THE SAME TIME, but rather that it is speaking of a 'Rapture' of some selected people.

The Rapture doctrines  are utter nonsense, the work of the Devil – nothing more and nothing less! It is a lie strait from satan's camp to disarm Christians and to cause them to voluntarily lay down their Gospel Armour:

Ephesians 6:10-18 speaks of this Gospel Armour:

[10] Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
[11] Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

The Mark of the Beast

It will be satan himself that will tell the Rapturists that he wishes to help the so-called ‘unsaved’ become ‘saved’ before he fulfils the Rapture.  He will purport to be doing this out of compassion and his great love for humanity, because he IS the Messiah, and Messiah's save!  The Rapturists will dare not question this almighty being as they will believe he IS Jesus Christ, the Son of Almighty God;  they will even glee in the great compassion and patience of this being, and by doing so they will be completely bought into the full deception of satan “and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate” (Dan 11:31).  See also… (Dan 12:11, Mt 24:15, Mk 13:14), they now have been 'marked' by the Beast, though they know it not yet.

The Mark of the Beast – the 666 is many things... In our modern day-and-age it includes money and technology… DO NOT BECOME ENSLAVED BY THESE ARTIFICIAL CONCEPTS!

It is written that the whole world shall wonder after the Beast (Rev 17:8), and those who resist him shall be delivered up to councils for conversion (Mt 10:17, Mk 13:9).
How will satan identify those who are resisting him?
He will lead 'the sheeple' to do his dirty work for him...
Those who resist and reject satan as the false christ (Rom 11:4) will be betrayed to satan by the deceived  'Christian Brothers' and their own concerned family members (Lk 21:16) who believe they are really helping them (the doubters) to be given a second chance by Jesus to make it 'in' before the Rapture. They will thus be so indoctrinated by satan’s propaganda and lies, that the will not even realize that he is the false messiah. This great deception is taking place right now, as I type these words!

The good news…

God will protect Christians during the tribulation. Satan is trying to scare Christians into clinging to the hope that Jesus will remove them from the earth prior to the tribulation, but yet Christians have nothing to fear from the tribulation:

Luke 21: 16-19 (KJV)
[16] And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. (Death = satan… see Hebrews 2:14)
[17] And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.
[18] But there shall not an hair of your head perish.
[19] In your patience possess ye your souls.

Matthew 10: 29-31 (KJV)
[29] Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
[30] But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
[31] Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Acts 18: 9-11 (KJV)
[9] Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace:
[10] For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.
[11] And he continued there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.

Revelation 9: 3-4 (KJV) -- The Great Tribulation…
[3] And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
[4] And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

Matthew 24: 21-25 (KJV)
[21] For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
[22] And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
[23] Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
[24] For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
[25] Behold, I have told you before.

Lies ...

Truth ...

I suggest you read the book "When the trumpet sounds”, edited by Thomas Ice and Timothy Demy, before you see yourself as an authoritative person on the subject of the “end times and Bible prophecies”.
23 leading experts in this field made contributions for this book. They include names such as Prof. Paul Feinberg, Dr. Elliot Johnson, Prof. Dwight Pentecost, Dr. Randall Price, Prof. Robert Thomas, Prof. Charles Ryrie, and Prof. John Walvoord.
Really I don’t think, after reading your meaning (and self praise on your knowledge), you can compare yourself with the above-mentioned people. On the contrary, I came to the conclusion that your knowledge is one sided and your ignorance very real in this regard. It will do well if you study your Bible without a preconceived notion or a one sided doctrinal influence in a prayerful way.
God Bless!
