On Monday morning March 2, I received an email message from a friend who wanted to know what could be done about the forced removal of a Christian Cross. The cross had been donated to the Lyttleton police station by members of the public living in the suburb of Centurion, Pretoria. It was built from railway sleepers and was visible at the main entrance to the police station. The instruction to remove the cross, with immediate effect, was given by Ms Jacqueline Mofokeng, Chairperson of Committee for Community Safety at the Gauteng Legislature. Grounds for these instructions were based on the fact that not all members of the station were Christians.

It later came to my attention that this same individual (Ms Mofokeng) had paid the station a surprise visit on late Friday afternoon and was attracted to a small outbuilding on the outskirts of the station grounds by the sounds of “sakkie-sakkie music” – commonly known among Afrikaans people as “Boeremusiek”. Ms Mofekeng then plodded off in that direction and was highly infuriated when she saw only White people sitting around enjoying refreshments. There were no persons in uniform, and no policemen on official duty present. The only reason why she made a big fuss was because there were no Black faces among the patrons.

Ms Mofekeng then proceeded to really stir up the pot by ordering the removal of the Christian Cross at the entrance, knowing full well that the entire group of Whites working at the station were all Christian folk. She was hoping to stir up discontent among the White folk, --- but guess what? Nothing happened! The cross was immediately removed without any grumble or protest. When the story landed up, all twisted, in the “Beeld” newspaper on Tuesday March 3, no mention was made of the episode with the Christian Cross.

What astonishes me is how this newspaper can publish, word-for-word, the sentiments of Ms Mofekeng as if her words were true beyond any doubt, creating an overall negative picture of the White Afrikaner. As customary with any liberal media, the newspaper takes precaution by adding some truth in the mixture, but in the end, ---- it’s the small amount of poison that causes harm.

Ms Mofekeng called the police canteen a “shebeen” which is only a few meters away from the charge office. The word “shebeen” is a term White folk associate with a drinking spot in a Black township. The newspaper fails to mention that the facility has been approved by SAPS Head office as an official “non-profit” Personnel Recreation Club, and that it is in fact situated quite a distance from the charge office, and that there are a whole string of rules and regulations that govern the management of such clubs.

Ms Mofekeng admits, “I was upset because everyone was White”.

What does she expect? The Lyttleton police station, previously known as “Adriaan Vlok”, is situated in a predominantly White – Afrikaner – Christian – Community. The few Blacks that work in the station don’t hang around after-hours, especially on a Friday afternoon. They duck for home to join their buddies in the real shebeens in townships such as Mamelodi, Atteridgeville, etc. where they can mingle with their own kind and listen to their own kind of music.

In the “Beeld” report, Ms Mofekeng specifically states that she did not see any person under the age of 18 drinking at the canteen (one grain of truth), but yet when the Pretoria News and other media picked up on the story, it was reported that three boys under the age of 18 were drinking at the police bar. This in an outright lie that only serves one purpose: To further discredit the White “Christian” Afrikaner and to promote the false impression that this once proud and honourable race is falling into a pit of disgrace.

A warning to the ANC government:

Well I have news for our lying, cheating, corrupt, Marxist leaders and their puppets, which they have strategically placed in high positions to rule over White “Christian” communities. You can remove as many Christian crosses you like; you can smother the White race by forcing other ethnic groups into our police stations, our schools, our churches, our offices, our libraries, our parks, our clubs, our sports fields, --- wherever you please! You can use every dirty tactic in the book to achieve your ultimate aim of eradicating the White Afrikaner race, but in the end all you’re actually accomplishing is the slow but casual destruction of your own cultures and ethnic beliefs. You see, this is how it works: The true Christian carries the Cross of Jesus in their hearts. These people will do everything in their power to accommodate, feed, support, teach and develop the so-called underprivileged, and in so doing eventually mould (convert) those people into “meek” individuals everyone can tolerate and live with. They don’t even have to live in this country to accomplish this! In a few years from now your tribal customs and traditions will only be found in curios shops and in a few remote spots on the outskirts of our cities. The wheel will turn full circle. Our sisters, brothers, sons and daughters will return to South Africa, their country of birth, to rebuild the nation you tried to destroy.
